Week 4 Woodcut Four

Heres my print for week four. It's just a simple woodcut alphabet , but it's something that I've wanted to do for some time. The thing that I am most excited about for this year/project is that i'll be making more woodcuts than I normally would and I'll be able to loosen up in tertms of subject matter and just take more chances....

Well I was working on something totally different as late as Tuesday and switched over to this one. i like it better. I actually am planning to make one woodcut a month in color and this will likely end up being the one...

Week TWO Print TWO January 8-15

Like I said, I didnt have the idea for making one print a week until I was well underway on this one and realized I was making one woodcut a week. So again, i am a day or two off schedule but I should get caught up this week, and I can now start posting updates along the way as I conceptualize,draw, and cut each new block!

Ok: When I made this, I wasn't thinking about this project, actually I finished it on January 10 and I am just now starting the blog on the January 17th but I'll be caught up for print three week three in a couple of days....
